Learn how to clock in and out, or take a shift break.
What is a Shift?
Swept lets your manager assign you to a scheduled shift at a cleaning location. You'll see this on the first page when you open Swept. Your cleaning hours and breaks are logged and used by your manager for payroll.
What are the prerequisites for the GeoFence to work?
Location Services and Precise Location need to be turned on in the privacy settings of the user's smartphone. Precise Location is set specifically for the Swept app, a sub-feature of Location Services.
Need to take a break?
Swept will let you pause the shift for a break, and start again when your break is over. Once you're ready to get back to work, don't forget to end your break.
Mandatory Break-Time
If mandatory breaks are set for your location, you'll need to take a break for the specified time. If you attempt to log in during this break, a pop-up will prompt you to finish your break time.
🚨 Make sure to keep your app updated to the latest version of Swept for the best performance and features.📲
How can a cleaner clock in at an unassigned location?
When you clock in to a location you don't often clean at, you'll be given temporary access to location details. This temporary access allows you to view essential information such as cleaning instructions, task lists, and any specific requirements for that location.
NOTE: We recommend using Google Maps for navigation and directions for your shifts.
